Summertime Scavenger Hunt

Celebrating beautiful blue skies, beaming sunshine and business successes this quarter - at the end of June we took to the streets of Bournemouth, for our summer company day-out!

Teaming up with iSpy (The Treasure Hunt Company) on Friday June 28th we downed tools for the afternoon, to take part in an immersive GPS scavenger hunt that was personalised specifically to suit our beach-side location.

We were split into teams and equipped with clues, tasks and iPad Pros… all using the bespoke iSpy app. This app was used to take photos and videos, answer location-based questions, meet time-specific challenges, and guide us through the hunt.

The tasks were superbly varied. From photos with people in uniform, behind bars, feeding birds and inside of red telephone boxes - to ‘Britains Got NO Talent’ video challenges, requests to locate awful souvenirs, along with (in some cases quite difficult) questions about things/places we had to find!

Needless to say, despite the melting heat everyone involved had a brilliant time, got fully involved and took great pleasure in competing against others across the business. With team members being randomly selected, the hunt presented a rare opportunity for people who don’t normally work together to connect - perfect for our social business culture.

The event concluded with a barbecue at the seaside restaurant, Urban Reef - where the winning team was announced (which just happened to include Director, Marcus… coincidence?) - and we all came together to laugh about the day, share stories and enjoy the stunning evening sunshine.

Below we’ve shared a few of our favourite photos from the day - with more photos and videos available, HERE
