Ben Rutter
I’ve been with Caspian One for the past 9.5 years. Throughout that time, I have worked purely in KDB, Q and Market Data – building teams across the globe; from US locations in New York, Chicago and San Francisco... to London, Dublin, Hong Kong, Singapore and Sydney, Australia. These teams cover a full spectrum of capability, Architects to Junior Developers. In addition, during this time I have spearheaded our client expansion initiatives and today, manage the FinTech division at Caspian One alongside fellow Co-Head, Phil Staples and Director, Adam Vipond. In this role I lead our business development and client engagement activities, whilst also having the opportunity to share my experiences with the team, seeing them craft rewarding careers. I believe my success relates to the level of passion, intensity, drive and motivation I express. Much of this I learnt early in my career, through working in sales with like-minded colleagues, and studying Marketing and Finance at University. More importantly, it’s my ability to create real relationships with everyone I work with that I credit highest.
